Have you ever felt discouraged financially because your account balance was not where you wanted it to be?
Many people use one number to measure progress, but financial progress is often happening in ways that are much harder to see at first.
Real progress can look like:
✔️ needing to rely on credit cards less often
✔️ recovering from an unexpected expense more easily
✔️ feeling less anxious checking your accounts
✔️ having a plan before making a major purchase
✔️ being able to save consistently, even in small amounts
✔️ understanding where your money is actually going each month
Those changes may not feel dramatic in the moment, but over time they create stability, confidence, and stronger financial habits.
And that’s important, because strong financial habits are usually what create long-term results in the first place.
If you’ve been feeling like you’re “behind,” it may help to look at the bigger picture of how far you’ve already come. And if you’d ever like a second perspective, I’m always happy to help.

Market headlines can make it feel like you should be doing something right away. 📉
But quick reactions are not always the same as smart decisions.
During market shifts, an advisor can help clients slow down and look at the full picture before making a move.
That may include looking at:
🔎 whether your long-term goals have actually changed
📊 whether your investment mix still makes sense
🧭 whether the concern is short-term noise or something that needs attention
🤍 whether emotion is driving the decision more than the plan
Many people do not need someone to predict the market. They need someone to help them stay calm, informed, and focused when the market feels hectic.
That perspective can make a big difference if you're thinking about working with a financial planner.
If market changes have made you feel unsure, I’m always happy to talk things through. Be sure to follow Marchand Wealth Management for more financial tips and insight!

Have you ever thought, “I should probably check in on my finances”… but then avoided it because it felt like too much? 👀
A mid-year financial review does not have to take hours. Many people can get a helpful snapshot in about 30 minutes by focusing on the big picture.
Here’s a simple way to do it:
1️⃣ Look at what came in and what went out:
Review your income and major expenses from the last month. You do not need to track every dollar, just notice if your spending feels manageable or stretched.
2️⃣ Check your savings progress:
Look at your emergency fund, retirement contributions, or any savings goals. Ask: "Am I still adding to these consistently?"
3️⃣ Review any debt or large upcoming expenses:
Are there payments, repairs, trips, or family needs coming up that could affect your plan?
4️⃣ Compare your goals to your real life right now:
Do the goals you set earlier this year still make sense? Or has something changed?
5️⃣ Pick one small adjustment:
Maybe it’s increasing savings slightly, cutting back one expense, or planning ahead for something coming up.
The goal is not to make everything perfect. It’s to see where you stand and choose one next step with more clarity.
If you’d like help walking through your own mid-year check-in, I’m always happy to help. Be sure to follow Marchand Wealth Management for more practical financial guidance. ✨

If you think back over the past year, your financial progress probably didn’t come from one big moment.
For many people, it comes from small things that happen over and over again.
Saving a little at a time.
Checking in occasionally.
Making slightly better decisions than before.
Those things don’t always feel important in the moment, but they start to build something over time.
They build consistency.
And consistency is what creates confidence.
Most people don’t become confident with money because everything is perfect. They become confident because they’ve built habits they can rely on.
And having someone guide you along the way can help you recognize what’s working and where to build from there.
If you’ve been wanting to feel more confident with your money, I’m always here to talk. Be sure to follow along for more steady financial perspective. ✨

Do you ever open your accounts and think, “I don’t even know what I’m supposed to be looking for”? 🤔
Many people feel that way, and it’s often because they think financial planning means watching everything closely all the time.
A planning check-in is actually the opposite.
It’s not about tracking every detail. It’s about having a clear moment to step back and look at the big picture so you can understand where you stand, see if anything needs adjusting, and feel confident about your next step
When you have a clear process like that, things tend to feel a lot less overwhelming.
If you have questions or want to talk through your situation, feel free to reach out, I’m always happy to help!

Today is the final ReWorks Recycling Day from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. in Stow. ♻️
ReWorks Recycling Days help Summit County residents responsibly recycle items that usually cannot go in curbside recycling, including laptops, tablets, cell phones, TVs, monitors, Styrofoam™, cooking oil, glass bottles and jars, cords, string lights, and more.
It’s also a good reminder that old phones, laptops, tablets, and electronics can still contain personal and financial information long after you stop using them. Recycling events like this are a great opportunity to responsibly clear out unused devices instead of letting them pile up at home.

Many people feel like they have to “start over” when something shifts, but that’s usually not the case.
Financial planning is meant to adjust with your life, not reset every time something changes.
When life shifts, it often comes down to:
👀 Looking at what’s different now
🎯 Keeping your main goals in mind
🔄 Making small adjustments to stay on track
Your plan should grow with you, not work against you.
Having someone help you walk through those changes can make it easier to stay focused and avoid feeling overwhelmed.
If you’re navigating a life change and want to make sure your plan still makes sense, I’m always here to help!
And be sure to follow Marchand Wealth Management for more steady financial guidance. ✨

A few simple checkpoints can go a long way in knowing if you're moving towards your financial goals:
📈 Is your total savings or investment balance higher than it was a few months ago?
🔄 Are you staying consistent with saving or investing?
💡 Do you feel a little more in control of your money than you did before?
Financial progress is usually gradual, not dramatic.
Many people find that when they step back and look at the bigger picture, they’re doing better than they thought. And having someone walk through your progress with you can help you see what’s working and where small adjustments might help- things you may not notice on your own.
If you’d like help checking in on your progress, I’m always here to talk. Be sure to follow Marchand Wealth Management for more practical financial guidance.
