Hopfinger and Merriman, LTD is seeking an individual for either full-time or part-time to assist our busy tax season office. The job includes general secretarial duties, data entry, customer service and filing. If you enjoy working with numbers or bookkeeping or have any tax experience the job may be expanded to those areas. Hopfinger and Merriman, LTD is seeking an individual with one or more years of tax preparation, bookkeeping and/or payroll experience. Prefer CPA but would consider a recent graduate; must have Bachelor degree in Accounting.

Beginning, Monday March 23,2020, we are suspending scheduled appointments. We have a drop box that you may place your information outside the building. We will also have a drop box inside the door that is closely monitored through the window.

Our office will be closed October 28 - November 1 to move to our new location. We will open for our regular hours on November 4 at our new location: 426 N Hwy 281 Suite 1.

Hopfinger & Merriman, LTD is seeking a staff accountant that is enthusiastic and motivated.
Primary responsibilities:
Accounting – prepare various reports
Tax - gather information and prepare returns for a variety of clients
Payroll – calculations, compliance, report filings

Candidates must demonstrate the following qualities:
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Analytical skills
Enjoy helping clients
Excellent comprehension & retention skills

Minimum requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
