Do you find provisional tax confusing? You're not alone as it's one of our most commonly asked questions.
Provisional tax helps you manage your income tax. You pay it in instalments during the year instead of a lump sum at the end of the year. You'll have to pay provisional tax if you had to pay more than $5,000 tax at the end of the year from your last return.
However, it's not a one-sized fits all approach to how and when you pay that can have expensive consequences if you get it wrong. If you don't understand your commitments, let us help.
