Samoan Language Week is a time to celebrate the Samoan aganu’u and an opportunity to keep the language alive. The theme for Samoan Language Week for 2026 is “E afua mai mauga tetele le manuia o le nu’u” which translates to “The blessings of a village flows from the high mountains”.

Today the team enjoyed traditional Samoan dishes, Sapasui (chop suey) and rice, oka (raw fish dish), keke mamoe (lamb buns) and also learnt a few samoan sayings.
