Nepal Rastra Bank has announced much awaited Monetary policy for FY 2077/78. It has been address many new things that economy of country will be resumed as previous. NRB has extended period of loan repayment for existing loan customers availed by bank & fanancial institutions who were affected by Corona. Rastra bank announced that productive sectors loan should be reached 40 percentage upto 2080. NRB has focused to prioritise the agriculture & it has to make a clear plan to implemention that many unemployed youth may get a job through agriculture. NRB has clearly defined the fuction of Agriculture Development bank & it should be guided accourdingly. It can also issue Agriculture bonds . NRB announced that all bank & financial institutions should not charge any amount while conducting transaction through any ATM. CCD ratio has been revised from 80 to 85 so that there will be sufficient cash in market and bank & fanancial institutions can finance easily as per requirement of loan & bank can lending various big project dut to CCD relaxation. Margin lending has been revised to 70% with 120 day average prises will be taken while disbursing loan on this product that means share market will be burst in coming days. This is also good news that microfinance license has been stopped because there are large number of microfinance in country & it has been hard to control them. Microfinance should give loan facility to borrowers up to 15 percentage interest rate. Overall policy has come well & it is challenge for implementation !!!
