3a Malta Limited is looking to recruit a Senior Accounting Associate to join our Accounts Team.

Reporting directly to the Head of Accounts, the selected candidate will assist in a variety of client accounting assignments while working with both local and international clients in a professional and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage an assigned portfolio of clients and maintain accurate accounting records
Prepare VAT returns and related VAT declarations
Prepare management accounts and financial statements in line with IFRS and GAPSME
Liaise with auditors and prepare audit files in a timely manner
Maintain efficient bookkeeping systems and accounting controls
Oversee accounts receivable and payable processes
Perform reconciliations for bank statements, payroll, debtors, and creditors
Build strong client relationships and provide support for accounting-related queries
Requirements:

Degree in Accountancy or equivalent qualification (ACCA / MIA partly-qualified candidates with experience are also encouraged to apply)
Minimum 3–4 years’ experience in a similar role
Strong knowledge of IFRS
Experience using computerized accounting systems
Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Fluent in written and spoken English
Ability to work independently and under pressure
Professional attitude and strong attention to detail

We believe that a team that creates together, grows together.

This time, we traded our desks for dough and it was absolutely worth it.

Our team recently came together for a special pizza-making workshop at Vecchia Napoli in St. Julian’s a warm, welcoming atmosphere that set the perfect stage. From stretching the dough to choosing the perfect toppings, every moment was a hands-on celebration of teamwork, creativity, and great food, as we crafted our own pizzas with our own unique flavours.

Laughter filled the kitchen as our team embraced their inner pizzaiolos, competing to craft the most perfect pizza.

Our people are our greatest asset. Moments like these away from the office, sleeves rolled up, flour on our hands remind us of the strong bonds that make our team so special.

This spring, the 𝟯𝗮 𝗠𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗮 team supported Malta’s natural and historical heritage by dedicating a day to a CSR initiative at 𝗠𝗮𝗷𝗷𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗛𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗸.

Surrounded by fresh spring air and blooming landscapes, our team rolled up their sleeves and worked side by side in a beach cleanup activity and tree planting, making a meaningful difference together.

Beyond the hands-on activities, the day was filled with positive energy, collaboration, and a shared commitment to sustainability. A guided talk and trek through the park gave the team deeper insight into its unique flora, fauna, and ongoing conservation efforts.

3A Malta is proud to have received recognition at the prestigious 2026 S.A.F.E. Award ceremony, organized by Agenzija Sedqa and the Foundation for Social Welfare Services. The event marked the 30th anniversary of the S.A.F.E. (Skills for Addiction Free Employees) programme and celebrated organizations that actively invest in the wellbeing of their workforce.
As part of its ongoing commitment to fostering a healthy work-life balance and a positive workplace culture, 3A Malta conducted a dedicated Stress Management programme for employees in July 2024.
