UK auditors face continued scrutiny from the FRC’s Audit Quality Review team or that of their institute, with annual inspection reports repeatedly highlighting the same recurring deficiencies — from risk assessment under ISA 315 (Revised) to superficial fraud responses and inadequate challenge of management’s estimates. The revised ISA 240 and ISA 540 have raised the bar considerably, and boilerplate documentation is no longer going to cut it.
Tomorrow's webinar with Lindsay Webber takes a frank look at what inspectors are finding, what the revised standards now require, and how to build audit files that genuinely reflect the professional scepticism expected of you.

Tomorrow's session with Reuben Steenkamp answers that honestly. Register here now:

Tomorrow's session with Tim Kelsey will be of interest to anyone who advises clients on employer requirements when operating throughout the EU. For employers based in the UK, the Directive will not apply for employees within the UK but will extend to employees within the wider EU including Republic of Ireland. It is likely however that, as the Directive sets new standards and expectations on gender pay equality, UK businesses will feel some pressure to comply with wider EU norms.
