This is Karen, our Senior Practice Manager and one of the experienced brains behind the scenes at Beaumara.
Karen has been a qualified accountant since 2002 and brings over 30 years of experience in practice, including time spent working at a Top 50 accountancy firm. Safe to say… she knows her stuff.
What Karen loves most about Beaumara is being part of a relationship-led practice, where clients are more than just numbers on a spreadsheet.
She also gets to work alongside Katy, a friendship that’s lasted over 30 years, which makes the office a pretty special place to be.
Outside of work, Karen is a mum of two and loves nothing more than long walks with her two beagles (who probably think they run the house).
We’re very lucky to have her as part of the Beaumara team 💼

Why is it called Beaumara? ✨
People often ask where the name Beaumara came from.
“Beau” represents beauty.
“Mara” represents strength.
Together, to me, it means the beauty in strength.
It reflects the journey of the incredible business owners we work with - building something from nothing, taking risks, supporting families and chasing dreams.
But it also reflects my own journey to get here, and the strength it sometimes takes to keep moving forward.
And it made it extra special that Beau was the name of my dog 🐾
So the name carries a little bit of heart too.
Welcome to Beaumara.
