🔦 Partner Spotlight
One of the key themes of this edition is the EU Pay Transparency Directive.
In our Partner Spotlight interview, Marlene Wachter (CHG Czernich Rechtsanwälte, Austria) and Uberto Percivalle (Andersen, Italy) discuss the practical challenges employers face when preparing for the new rules – from job evaluation and remuneration structures to recruitment practices and legal uncertainty surrounding implementation.
The conversation highlights an important point: for many employers, the real challenge is not the principle of equal pay itself, but the practical implementation of the new requirements.
This edition also covers developments from a number of European jurisdictions, including updates on pay transparency implementation, platform work, labor inspections and working time regulations.

Members of the Private Client Service Line came together in Malta for the Annual Private Client Summit, themed: & Mobility in Uncertain Times.
The summit brought together practitioners, advisers and decision-makers from across the Andersen Global network and beyond, for an in-depth exchange on the challenges and opportunities shaping international private clients today.
Predominantly attended in person, the summit was complemented by the participation of panellists joining remotely, enabling broader perspectives and richer exchanges.
Representing Andersen in Greece & Cyprus, Nakis Kyprianou attended the summit and participated in discussions alongside peers from across the network.
Against a backdrop of geopolitical uncertainty, regulatory change and evolving mobility patterns, discussions explored cross-border structuring, liquidity events, succession planning and global mobility.
The summit concluded with a visit to Valletta, including a private tour of St John’s Co-Cathedral and a viewing of Caravaggio’s The Beheading of Saint John the Baptist.
We thank all speakers and delegates for a constructive exchange, as well as Andersen in Malta and Chetcuti Cauchi Advocates - Malta Law Firm for hosting.
We look forward to continuing these conversations across the Andersen Private Client community.
