📢 Mandatory Electronic Payment of Rent as of 1 July 2026

The Tax Department has issued an announcement regarding the mandatory electronic payment of rent for immovable property in Cyprus, effective as of 1 July 2026.

Rent payments must now be made exclusively via:

✔ Bank transfer
✔ Debit or credit card
✔ Other recognised electronic payment methods

This applies to all individuals and legal entities.

The deadline for the submission of 2025 Personal Income Tax Returns and the payment of any tax due has been extended to 31 October 2026.

The extension applies to individuals who are not self-employed and are not required to prepare audited or reviewed financial statements.

The Role
The role involves working as a senior member of the audit team to service local and international clients. The successful candidate should also be able to manage a team of junior auditors effectively.

Required Qualifications
Holder of ACCA/ACA qualification with a minimum work experience of 3-4 years in audit. Excellent command of both the Greek and English languages. Strong organizational and communication skills.
