One profitable trade at random is luck🤞
A series of such trades is a well-chosen strategy ✅
A trading strategy provides a clear algorithm of actions. With it, you understand under what market conditions and based on what signals, up or down, to enter the market. It is the main tool of a trader, which brings profit not by chance, but consistently.
If you open trades based on your feelings or if you have a strategy, but in the current reality it fails more and more often, then save this post – it will come in handy!
👉 The pictures show 2 short strategies that are easy to apply in practice and adapt to your needs. These strategies are suitable for short-term trading in a volatile market.

Do you have a healthy relationship with trading? 💔
A good relationship with the market is when you have boundaries, a clear trading plan, and trust in your strategy. Emotional swings and ill-considered trades make this relationship toxic.
In anticipation of Valentine's Day, we suggest you honestly assess your trading style and check it for red flags. In the pictures, choose the answers that are closest to you in a trading situation 🚩
The result of this test is not a verdict, but a point of growth, so that you can notice mistakes in time and not pay for them with your deposit.

🤬 «Why did the trade go into a loss when everything indicated a breakout?» – this is a question we received from a trader. Instead of answering individually, we decided to go further and make every Wednesday in February a day for answering your questions! Posts will be published under the hashtag .
Let’s start by analyzing a real situation where the trader did «everything right» but still saw a loss on the account.
Take a look at the chart and try to find the mistake before checking the correct answer.
Chart conditions:
➡️ asset: EUR/USD
➡️ timeframe: 15 min
➡️ indicators: RSI, support/resistance levels, Bollinger Bands (20, 2)
The price was testing a strong resistance level, Bollinger Bands were squeezed, and volatility was minimal. An impulsive candle appeared above the level and the upper band, RSI >50. The trader opened a trade ⬆️ to the upside on the second candle above the level. Result: after several candles, the price moved down below the middle line – a loss.
What went wrong?
❌ A breakout during low volatility is often false.
❌ The price closed outside the band but immediately returned inside.
❌ RSI >50 without momentum strengthening, no divergences.
❌ Ignoring the range context — the retest failed to hold above the middle line.
What should have been done?
✅ Wait for Bollinger Bands expansion after the squeeze.
✅ Wait for the breakout and at least 1–2 candles outside the bands.
✅ The retest should occur with a strong bounce from the upper Bollinger Band.
✅ Additionally: RSI >60–65.
💡Without confirmation, any signal can easily turn into a trap.
