2025 Tax Update:

We are accepting new tax clients this year for the 2024 tax year as opposed to last year where we were not.

We are not planning on posting on Facebook or other social media much though as we are fairly busy and not looking to grow much more but if you or someone you know are looking we won't turn you away.

The response I get when a tax client asks me about a "tax strategy" they thought up of that has a chance of .01% of being a loophole and I tell them that it's essentially a no but I don't know exactly where to look in the tax act to find out.

Deadline is May 1st this year for personal tax returns so get those taxes in as soon as possible!

Tax Season is just about here.

Here are some important dates:

February 20, 2023: Earliest day to file your taxes online
April 30, 2023 (May 1, 2023 since April 30 is a Sunday): Deadline to file your taxes
June 15, 2023: Deadline to file your taxes if you or your spouse or common-law partner are self-employed

Tax Season is pretty much over now. Thanks to all my clients who brought their taxes in much earlier this year. Now my summer looks pretty nice. I may be able to take some holidays. Nice! Maybe even make some new funny videos. Who knows, maybe we'll blow up a printer or two.

Haven't been posting too much this year. Too many tax returns. But never too many for you. Whoever you are. :) Still accepting returns and will get them done before the due date but time is running out if you're running late. May 2 2022 is this year's deadline.
