🚨 Attention Company Directors 🚨
The ATO is stepping up enforcement of Director Penalty Notices (DPNs) – and the consequences are serious.

If your company fails to meet its PAYG, GST, or Superannuation Guarantee obligations, you could be personally liable for the debt.

📌 There are 2 types of DPNs:
1. Non-lockdown DPNs – You may avoid personal liability by appointing an administrator or liquidator within 21 days.
2. Lockdown DPNs – Issued when obligations aren’t reported on time. These can’t be avoided, even with liquidation.

💡 Tip: Don’t ignore ATO notices. Get advice early. You may have options – but timing is everything.

💼 Can You Claim Bags and Luggage on Your Aussie Tax Return?

Short answer: Yes – but only if they’re work-related. 🧾🇦🇺

Here’s the breakdown:

✅ Deductible:
✔️ Laptop bags, tool bags, or briefcases used primarily for work
✔️ Must be directly related to your income-earning activities
✔️ You need a receipt and proof of use

🚫 Not deductible:
❌ Personal luggage or handbags
❌ Anything used mainly for private use (like holidays ✈️)

📌 Pro tip:
If a bag is used for both work and personal reasons, you can only claim the work-related portion.
