Mummies, I want to ask you something honestly.

When was the last time you did something for YOUR financial future - not for the kids, not for the household, just for you?

I'll wait. πŸ˜…

For a lot of working mums, the answer is… a long while ago probably.

And it's not because you don't care.

It's because there's always something more urgent.

Talya's school fees. The household bills. That school trip. The tuition. That enrichment.

Your own financial plan? Aiyah, later lah.

But here's what I want you to sit with today:

Your children need you financially strong - not just now, but in 20 years too.

The best gift you can give them isn't just paying for their future.

It's making sure you have your own.

Tell me honestly in the comments πŸ‘‡

When was the last time you did something for YOUR financial future?

(No judgment. Safe space here. 🀍)

A day in my life as a financial consultant looks nothing like what most people expect.

There's no fancy office. No intimidating boardroom.

Most of my best conversations happen over a meal or a cup of teh-c kosong - sitting across from a woman who's finally decided she wants to take control of her money.

She usually starts the same way.

"I feel embarrassed I don't know more about this."

And I always say the same thing back:

Nobody taught us. You're not behind. You just haven't had the right conversation yet.

That's what I'm here for.

10+ years of doing this - and that moment, when something clicks for a client, never gets old.

If you've been putting off that conversation with yourself about your finances - this is your sign.

You're not lazy. You're just genuinely busy lah.

But these 5 moves? Each one takes less than an afternoon.

Swipe through. Pick one to do this week.

Save this - you'll want to come back to it. πŸ’Έ

My financial planning advice and my breakfast order are basically the same.

Teh-c kosong.

No sugar. No milk. No unnecessary things added.

Keep it simple. Keep it clean. Know what you want.

Honestly, I think a lot of people's money problems come from the same place as a complicated coffee order - too many things added on until you've lost track of what you actually need.

Your financial plan doesn't need to be complicated actually.

It needs to be clear.

What do you want? How much does it cost? What do you need to do to get there?

That's it.

(Also if you know, you know - teh-c kosong hits different on a Monday morning. β˜•)

Drop a ❀️ if you're a teh-c kosong or kopi-o person.

The biggest money myth I keep hearing from professional women:

"I'll start investing once I have more money."

I hear this all the time.

And I understand it. When you're managing bills, rent, maybe a family - it feels like there's never enough left over to invest.

But here's what nobody tells you:

Waiting until you have "enough" is exactly why most people never build wealth.

Because the truth is - you don't need a lot to start. You need a habit.

$200 a month invested consistently beats $2,000 invested once and forgotten.

Time in the market matters more than the amount you start with.

The best time to start was yesterday. The second best time is today.

Even if it's small. Even if it feels insignificant.

Start anyway.

Drop a ❀️ if you've told yourself this before. And save this as your reminder to start.

Nobody tells you this before you have kids.

The moment you become a mum - your finances get 10x more complicated and your time to sort them out gets 10x less.

You're suddenly responsible for another human being.

You're thinking about school fees, insurance, savings for them, your own retirement - all at the same time.

And somewhere between the bedtime routine and the work deadlines, "sorting out my finances" keeps getting pushed to tomorrow.

I get it. I really do.

I'm a mum too. Talya is my whole world. And I know exactly what it feels like to want to do everything for her - while also quietly wondering if I'm doing enough for our family's future.

Here's what I wish someone told me earlier:

The best thing you can do for your children's future is to secure your own first.

You cannot pour from an empty cup - financially or otherwise.

If you're a working mum who keeps putting your finances on the back burner - this page is for you.

I'm here. No judgment. No jargon. Just a plan that actually fits your life.

Drop a ❀️ if you're a mummy who needs to hear this today.

Working mum schedule on a good day:

6am - wake up before Talya so got 5 minutes of peace
6.05am - Talya awake. Peace over. πŸ˜‚
7am - school prep chaos
8am -drop off, rush to first call
12pm - eat lunch while replying emails
3pm - school pick up
5pm - homework, dinner, bath
8pm - Talya asleep. Finally.
8.15pm - too tired to do anything
8.16pm - scroll phone and tell myself I'll sort out my finances tomorrow

Sound familiar? πŸ˜…

Here's the thing actually. That’s not my schedule, more like many of my clients’.

"Tomorrow" has been happening for 3 years for some of you.

I'm not judging - I've been there.

But your future self is quietly paying the price for every "tomorrow."

The good news? Sorting out your finances doesn't need 3 hours and a spreadsheet.

It needs one conversation.

That's it.

One conversation to understand where you stand and what your next move is.

DM me. We'll find 30 minutes. I promise it won't feel like homework. 😊

This page is for you if β€”

You're earning well. Maybe even really well.

But at the end of every month, you're not sure where it went.

You haven't started investing yet because it feels complicated and you don't know where to begin.

You know you should have a plan. But life is busy, and somehow it always gets pushed to later.

You're not bad with money. You just never had someone sit down with you and explain it in a way that actually made sense.

I'm Quinn. I'm a financial consultant with finexis advisory, and I've spent 10+ years helping professional women take control of their money β€” not with complicated strategies, but with clear, simple steps that actually fit their life.

Here's what I cover on this page:
πŸ’Έ Personal finance basics
πŸ“ˆ How to start investing
🏦 Building wealth that lasts

If any of this sounds like you β€” you're in the right place.

Follow along. And if you're ready to talk, my DMs are open.

Drop a ❀️ if this resonates.

I didn't grow up talking about money.

I grew up without it.

My mum passed away when I was 6. Without enough insurance, my family struggled. I watched my father work so hard β€” but there was never enough of a safety net. Years later, when my brother and I both entered university at the same time, my father had to terminate the savings plans he had for us early. He got back less than what they were worth. But it was the first time I truly understood β€” forced savings is everything. Because even with a bank loan for my fees and working every holiday, I needed that money just to eat and get through each day.

The moment I got my first pay cheque, I walked straight to my advisor friend and asked to buy insurance.

I didn't want anyone I love to ever be in the position my family was in.

That's why I've spent the last 10+ years as a financial consultant. Not to sell products. But to make sure the women around me have a plan β€” before life makes one for them.

If you're here, I'm glad you found this page.

Drop a ❀️ if you have a money story too. I'd love to hear it.
