Wrapping up our last Matrimoney workshop of the year with full hearts and fruitful conversations!

So grateful for these young married couples from different churches who are saying YES to stewarding their finances God’s way. 🙌

Here’s to growing, learning, and building a community of Kingdom-minded stewards together! 🥳✨

Technicalities can only go so far, but the transformation of our minds toward good stewardship can change our lives and even the generations to come.

Goodbye, credit card #1 👋💳 Paid off and cut up!

Part of our goal this year as a couple is to slowly pay off our debts — we’re celebrating every little win on this financial journey. Here’s to progress, discipline, and financial freedom ahead! 💪💳💰

What a good principle to follow in terms of purchasing, maintenance and decluttering! What are the things that are no longer doing their job in your house/office? 🤔

One of the beautiful things we’ve learned from our marriage counselors is the blessing of oneness in the covenant of marriage — and this includes our finances.

We discovered that many married Filipino couples today still hold on to the mindset, “Ang pera ko, ay pera ko.” But we’re learning that in marriage, it’s not mine or yours anymore — it’s ours.

We work hard as one.
We grow as one.
We win as one.

Grateful for the lessons that remind us that unity in all things, even in money, brings peace, trust, and joy into the marriage. ❤️

Marriage is about unity. But when couples keep their money separate, they act like roommates instead of a team.

This can lead to:
— Lack of trust
— Money fights
— Hidden spending
— A weaker marriage

Couples split their money for all kinds of reasons:
"I don't want to fight about money."
"I make more, so I should control it."
"We have different spending habits."
"I don't want to lose my independence."

But these are just symptoms of a bigger problem.

Marriage isn't 50/50. It's 100/100. That includes your money, decisions, and future. If you don't trust each other with your finances, you have a relationship problem, not a money problem.

Here's how to get on the same page about money in your marriage:

Combine your bank accounts.
— No more "mine" and "yours." Just "ours."

Create a budget together.
— Every dollar has a job, and you both decide.

Set shared financial goals.
— Debt-free? Homeownership? Early retirement? Dream together.

Communicate regularly.
— Have weekly money check-ins so there are no surprises.

When you and your spouse get on the same page financially, you'll build a stronger marriage and a better future together.

We’re incredibly grateful for the opportunity to host the first-ever session of MatriMoney — a workshop on biblical financial stewardship designed especially for married couples.

It was a meaningful time of learning, sharing, and reflecting on how we can honor God through wise financial practices in marriage.

What made it even more special? We got to do this with friends who are also part of our growing community. There's something powerful about learning and growing together. Thank you to everyone who joined us — your presence and participation made this session incredibly rich.

We’re just getting started... so if you missed this one, don’t worry. Another session is upcoming. Stay tuned for updates!
